The Afghanistan U-19 team reached Bogura on Tuesday for their upcoming five-match Youth ODI series against Bangladesh, scheduled to start on October 28.

The visitors landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport earlier in the morning before they taking a three-and-a-half-hour road trip to Bogura, where the opening two matches will take place.

It was learnt that the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) had requested their Bangladesh counterparts to provide them with an extended period for  acclimatizing with the conditions and for more practice which is why they came here a week before the start of the series. 

The opening two one-dayers will take place at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium on October 28 and 31, respectively, before the teams move to Rajshahi for the remaining three matches. The Rajshahi Divisional Stadium on November 3, 6 and 9 will host the rest of the three matches..
