The government has formed a committee at the advisers' level to review matters related to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, with Planning Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud as its convener.

The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification in this regard today.

The other members of the committee are Industries and Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, Environment Adviser Rizwana Hasan, and Information and Broadcasting Advisor Mahfuj Alam.

In addition, the Chief Adviser's Special Envoy on International Affairs Lutfey Siddiqi has been included in the committee.

The committee will make recommendations to the government on issues under the purview of the information and broadcasting ministry and may seek assistance from any relevant official, if necessary.

According to the notification, the ministry will provide secretarial support to the committee.
