SBC activates ERP, Core Insurance under BISDP
Under the Bangladesh Insurance Sector Development Project (BISDP), financed by the Government of Bangladesh and the World Bank, Sadharan Bima Corporation (SBC) has launched new modules of its enterprise systems to modernise operations.
At a ceremony today, SBC inaugurated four modules of the G-4 Package (ERP) and two modules of the G-10 Package (Core Insurance System).
The Go-Live was formally announced by Md Harun-or-Rashid, Managing Director of SBC and Additional Secretary to the Government.
The event was attended by the Project Director and Deputy Project Director of BISDP, along with SBC's General Managers, Deputy General Managers, and other officials.
SBC said the ERP and core insurance rollouts will improve workflow integration, reporting, underwriting and claims processing, supporting faster service delivery and better governance across the corporation's operations.
